Which payment methods are accepted?

We currently accept a variety of payment methods, including American Express (AMEX), Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, UnionPay, Visa, and Klarna. All of these options are available for you to choose from at checkout.

Payment defaults

If problems occur during payment, here are some common causes and corresponding solutions.

1. Credit card payment failed – Code 80010: Transaction Do Not Honour

Cause:
The card-issuing bank classifies the transaction as high-risk, especially for international payments. This may be due to the bank's internal security policies or established limits for online payments.

Solution:
Please contact your card-issuing bank to authorize the transaction or to confirm that it is your payment. You may also need to adjust your online spending limit.

2. Credit card payment failed – Code 80090: Cannot Start 3D Authorized Service

Cause:
The 3D Secure verification service is not activated for your card.

Solution:
Contact your card-issuing bank to activate the 3D Secure service. Make sure you complete all 3D verification steps, or alternatively, try a different credit card.

3. Credit card payment failed – Code 20061: Duplicate Order

Cause:
The payment process was interrupted during 3D verification and then restarted, resulting in a duplicate order.

Solution:
Please complete the 3D verification process as shown and avoid refreshing the page or restarting the payment process.

Exchange rate conversion

All transactions on em-smart.store are billed in EUR. If you pay with a credit card denominated in a currency other than EUR, your card-issuing bank may charge additional fees for currency conversion or you may incur exchange rate losses.
If you are charged additional fees, please contact your bank and request a refund if necessary.
